Profile and Editing

Your profile pulls your details together and is where you edit them. Your avatar, pen name, interests, intro letter and languages each have their own edit page.

Where to find it

Profile (「我的」) → View Dossier (「查看档案」) at the bottom right of your avatar.

Steps

  1. The profile page has two sections: Identity (「身份」) has your avatar, pen name, pen number, registration time and location; Basic Info (「基本信息」) has your MBTI, gender, birthday, zodiac sign, Chinese zodiac and age range. Rows with an arrow can be tapped to edit. Changing your location also affects the Same City (「同城」) and "same province" (「同省」) recommendations on Home.

  2. Tap the small pencil at the bottom right of your avatar to open Change Avatar (「修改头像」). You can choose an official avatar in one of three styles — default, retro or pixel — or tap the camera icon to upload your own photo. The clock icon in the top right shows your avatar history. After choosing, tap Save (「保存」).

FAQ

Can I change my pen name? Yes, but the number of changes is limited, and each pen name you've used is kept in your history.

Why can't I save with fewer than 3 interest tags? Interest tags are used to recommend pen pals to you, so you need to choose at least 3.
